Today, as we mark international Women’s Day, I extend greetings to all women for their unwavering dedication and contribution towards nurturing wonderful families and a better society. I also celebrate the strength, achievements, resilience, and sisterhood of women around the world.
In commemoration of this year’s International Women’s Day themed “Invest In Women, Accelerate Progress” , I enjoin government and other relevant stakeholders to prioritize responsive contribution to women’s needs, ambitions and visions centred around positive contribution to the society and economies globally.
My message to all women is that let’s keep kicking against gender inequality, defy stereotypes, change cultural narratives about women and force positive conversations for women.
Investing assiduously in women and relentlessly championing their course will herald a future where everyone can excel and also create a world of immense opportunities, empowerment and progress for all.
