The purpose of the visit was to reaffirm the presence and purpose of their officials within the community which include ensuring road safety, gathering comprehensive data of commutes, occurrences and accidents as well as curtailing road encroachment and obstructions.
It was also an opportunity to seek the assistance of the council to enable them carry out their operations seamlessly.
CC Babatunde Farinloye stated that while the aforementioned challenges with traffic management are general problems, proper synergy with relevant government authorities within the community including the council will be of great help.
She commended the hard-work and commitment of the FRSC officers posted to Epe in the face reckless traffic offenders especially the tanker drivers within the area.
