April 14, 2022: The swearing in ceremony of the new SLG, Hon. Rahmon Saheed Olalekan, including SAs and Supervisors of the council was held at the Council Secretariat Chamber.
The appointees were carefully selected from across the wards in the community based off of their track record, credibility and ability to carry out the task at hand diligently.
I urged them not to see this appointment as a personal achievement but as an opportunity to serve the people of Epe Land, to always be of good conduct while ensuring swift delivery of service according to the obligations and responsibilities of their offices.
Also, present at the event was GAC Member of the APC, Alhaji Akanni Seriki Bamu who advised the newly selected executives not be deterred by criticisms but to be proactive in carrying out their duties without bias.
