I, Hon.(Princess) Surah O. Animashaun, the Executive Chairman of Epe LGA, extend my greetings to the people of Epe, especially the Christian Community, on the propitious and sacred occassion of Good Friday, 2024.

Today, we join with Christians around the world to remember the events that took place during the final week of Jesus’ life.

We remember and observe this solemn moments and events, and our HOPE is further strengthened by the fact that He rose again on the third day.

In the spirit of Good Friday, let us remember the sacrifice of our Saviour -Jesus Christ; for His work on the cross represents true unconditional love, redemption. His resurrection connotes the victory of good over evil.

Therefore, I entreat you to be Christ-like, renew your commitment to His ideals and teachings and live in peace and harmony with your neighbours.
