The Executive Chairman of Epe Local Government , Hon. Princess Surah O. Animashaun FHTI, has offered cash prize and scholarship to Olatunji Praise Oluseyi, who had the highest score in the just concluded JAMB 2024.
Olatunji Praise Oluseyi scored a cumulative total of 303 out of 400 making him the highest scorer in JAMB exams in the LGA.
Recall that sometime in February 2024, the Chairman announced and distributed free JAMB forms for Indigent students which Praise Oluseyi was one of the beneficiaries of the Chairman’s academic intervention.
The Chairman could not contain her joy on receiving the brilliant student in her office on Tuesday, May 7, 2024.
The Chairman congratulated the remarkable student for his exceptional performance and for not only projecting the LGA positively but also making her proud.
The scholarship will not only serve as a token of the Local Government’s appreciation for his hard work but also provide him with the opportunity to pursue his dreams and contribute to the development of the LGA, State and the nation in the future.
PSOA wished Oluseyi continued success in his future academic pursuits, and encouraged other young students in the LGA to be inspired by Oluseyi’s outstanding performance.
She urged students to take advantage of the administration’s various efforts, initiatives and programs deliberately conceived towards conducive learning environment and equally strive for academic excellence that will propel them to successful pedestals while they pursue their various endeavours.
