The Executive Chairman of Epe Local Government, Hon. (Princess) Surah Animashaun FHTI, in another practical demonstration of her compassion and magnanimity has given out cash palliative to the vulnerable women in Epe Local Government to cushion the effect of high prices of goods.
The Chairman was ably represented by the Vice-Chairman, Hon. Sikiru Owolomoshe and the Council Manager, Mrs. Giwa Monsurat.
The program, held at Epe Local Government Council Hall had the presence of several stakeholders from the council and community.
The cash palliative intervention was necessary, according to Hon. (Princess) Surah Animashaun FHTI, because of the low purchasing power being experienced, hence, the selection of the women beneficiaries.
“Also, most of the vulnerable women are unable to afford drugs but with the cash palliative, they will be able to buy medications and monitor their health.”
The party LGA Chairman, Comrade Gbadamosi Oloruntoyin showered praises on Princess Surah for all her good works so far and also assured that all the party leaders are strongly behind her for her second term ambition.
The beneficiaries also sang praises of the talk-and-do Chairman for her show of love and prayed that the Almighty God will continually bless and direct her path at all times hence their approval of another term with the shouting of the Chairman’s slogan “PSOA BEYOND 2025.”
