Olalekan Kila and Prince Roads Nearing Completion in Epe LGA
The administration of Hon. (Princess) Surah Animashaun FHTI is pleased to announce that the ongoing road construction of Olalekan Kila and Prince Street has reached the grading and leveling stage.
This critical phase involves:
- Grading: Ensuring the roadbed is even and aligned with the proposed design.
- Leveling: Smoothening out the surface to create a stable base for the next layers.
According to the Chairman, the road works have reached over 70% completed, as concrete drainages have been completed on both roads, and crews are working diligently to complete the other section of the roads.
“Construction teams are now focused on the next steps, which involve laying base course materials, such as crushed stones and sand, followed by the installation of asphalt layers.”
The Chairman expressed appreciation for the patience and cooperation of residents during the construction period and reaffirmed her administration’s commitment to improving the area’s road infrastructure.
She emphasized that more updates about the two roads would be provided from time to time as the project progresses.
