The Chairman of Epe Local Government, Hon. (Princess) Surah Animashaun FHTI, has launched the construction of Akodu Street, located off Adeyemi Apena Street, as part of her ongoing efforts to boost infrastructure and connectivity in the area.
Workers have already been mobilized, with heavy equipment on-site carrying out earthworks and preparing drainage channels for the road construction.
Hon. (Princess) Surah emphasized that this project represents a key milestone in her administration’s commitment to improving the road network and infrastructure in Epe.
Once completed, the newly constructed road will significantly enhance road networks and improve the quality of life for residents.
The project is expected to be completed in eight months, and residents are optimistic that this long-awaited development will bring much-needed relief to the community.
The Chairman expressed gratitude to the residents for their continued cooperation and encouraged them to support the construction workers to ensure the project is completed on schedule.
