Ultra-Modern Multi-Purpose Hall Reaches 95% Completion
We are delighted to give an update on the progress made so far as regards the Ultra-Modern Multi-Purpose Hall at Epe LGA Secretariat.
According to the talk-and-do Chairman, Hon. (Princess) Surah Animashaun FHTI, we are happy to inform you that the project has attained the final stage, as it has gotten to the level of painting.
Explaining the idea behind the project, the Chairman said, “The Multipurpose Hall is crucial for the people of Epe as it will house our social enterprise initiatives aimed at empowering our youths, women, and other vulnerable groups.
The building consists of 2 halls with 450 & 380 banquet sitting capacity. Being a multi-purpose hall, it will provide dedicated spaces for vocational training, educational programs, 2 offices to cater to other departments of the LGA, entrepreneurship program, a crèche to serve the members of staff of Epe LGA, and a community events centre.
In a region where unemployment and underemployment are significant challenges, particularly among the youth and women, this facility will play a pivotal role in addressing these issues by offering practical hands-on-skills training and a business training hub.
The hall will be well-equipped to host workshops, seminars, educational programs, community events, and training sessions in various trades such as tailoring, ICT, waste-to-wealth, and small-scale manufacturing to promote local economic growth.
By providing these opportunities, the hall will help foster self-reliance and economic independence to users and beneficiaries; ultimately contributing to the broader goal of poverty alleviation, sustainable community development, and enhanced community engagement.
The Chairman appreciates everyone who has played a vital role in ensuring the completion of this masterpiece project.
She also assured of the timely delivery of this project.
