As a proactive measure to curb probable chaos, unrest and all forms of violence, the Executive Chairman of Epe Local Government, Hon. Surah Animashaun FHTI, held an all-important Security Stakeholders meeting regarding the upcoming protest planned for August 1st to 10th, 2024.
The meeting had the presence of Officers of the Nigerian Army, Nigeria Police Force, DSS, LNSC, FRSC, Tactical Team, Ibile Local Security and VGN.
The Chairman commended all the Security personnel for the job well done so far while also charging them to ensure the safety of lives and properties of our dear people in Epe Local Government because their peace, sanity and tranquility is of paramount importance and will ensure its sustainability with utmost commitment.
On that note the Chairman urged everyone to be vigilant and security conscious and not hesitate to report any suspicion of any person or group that may want to perpetrate violence and all forms of criminality to the relevant security agencies
