The Executive Chairman of Epe Local Government Chairman, Hon. (Princess) Surah Animashaun FHTI, has taken proactive measures to combat the recent cholera outbreak in Ito Osun Abalaye and Saga area. After providing medical care and medication to those affected, the Chairman recognized that the root cause of the issue lies in the lack of access to clean drinking water.
To address this, Princess Animashaun has initiated a project to drill boreholes in Ito Osun Abalaye and Saga area in Ward D1.
This will provide residents with a reliable source of good drinking water, effectively preventing future outbreaks of waterborne diseases like cholera.
Under Princess Animashaun’s leadership, Epe Local Government has demonstrated its commitment to priotizing the health and well-being of its residents.
This comprehensive approach to addressing the cholera outbreak serves as an emulative model.
