Epe Local Government has officially opened registration for the 2026 Emerging Leaders Program (ELP), a flagship youth development initiative designed to equip young people with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to become transformational leaders and agents of positive change.
The programme, championed by the Executive Chairman of Epe Local Government, Hon. Princess Surah Olayemi Animashaun, FHTI, reflects the administration’s unwavering commitment to investing in the next generation of visionary, innovative, and impact-driven leaders who will shape the future of Epe and beyond.
The 2026 Emerging Leaders Program offers participants a unique opportunity to gain practical knowledge through intensive, hands-on training in:
- Leadership Development
- Civic Engagement
- Innovation and Community Problem Solving
- Employability and Workplace Readiness
- CV and LinkedIn Optimisation
- AI Literacy & Creative Empowerment Training
- Emergency Response Awareness and CPR Certification (for selected participants)
Participants who successfully complete the programme will receive certificates of participation and gain access to valuable leadership networks, mentorship opportunities, and resources that will position them for future academic, professional, and civic success.
Speaking on the initiative, the Executive Chairman, Hon. Princess Surah Olayemi Animashaun, FHTI, reaffirmed that youth empowerment remains a key priority of her administration, emphasizing that equipping young people with relevant leadership, digital, and innovation skills is critical to building a prosperous, resilient, and globally competitive Epe.
